Soorya Abdul, Esq.

Associate

Soorya received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine in 2019. She graduated from Rutgers Law School in 2023.

During law school, Soorya served as a Clinical Student for the Intellectual Property Clinic, working simultaneously as a seasonal intern with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). She was also a Teaching Fellow for the Minority Student Program and worked with former New Jersey Governor McGreevey on the NJ Re-Entry Corporation, assisting pro bono in creating new paths to re-entry after incarceration.

Ms. Abdul passed the California Bar Exam in 2023 and immediately began practicing in the field of workers' compensation law. Since joining Schallert PC, she has excelled in handling workers' compensation claims at all stages of litigation, as well as lien resolution following such claims.

Soorya is an Afghan American female refugee, and her personal journey of resilience adds to her dedication to her profession. She is a member of the State Bar of California and a valuable asset to the firm.
