Lucia A. Winner, Esq.

Lucia received her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School's SCALE program. She also earned her MBA from Claremont Graduate School.

Before joining Schallert PC as a partner, Lucia was a partner at another workers' compensation defense firm and worked as in-house counsel. Since 2016, she has been specializing in workers' compensation defense, representing insurance carriers, third-party administrators (TPAs), and self-insured employers. She manages complex cases from start to finish and is frequently brought in as a consultant for difficult-to-resolve matters, often subbed in as counsel to ensure favorable outcomes for her clients.

Lucia also has a robust fraud mitigation practice, working with insurance providers to limit the success and increase the consequences of fraudulent claims and bills.

Beyond her professional work, Lucia enjoys the arts and photography, as well as the outdoors and cooking.
